  1. Right click in the image in excel and FORMAT PICTURE...It will give you the opportunity to re-size it. You can also right click "show picture toolbar" that brings up other options

    GibbCam

Hey, I used Gibbs for about 2 years after using mastercam for maybe 15 yrs. I didnt like it at all. I didn't have the control i have with mastercam. Connector points , extracting geometry,tiles.....etc it all was combersome compared to m-cam. It was good for simple stuff but not very good for Horizontal machining. Post processors were not very easily edited. They actually dumped Gibbs after I quit and purchased M-cam for future use Its a very different program and took a while to grasp because I didn't have training and was forced to use it. Good Luck

  6. Im thinkin REF points is the way to go . I used to program horizontal machines and thats what I used before pallet rotation.
  7. This is how we do it...... manually program and edit for the Haas controls..... PITA but it works Pretty basic programming. 8. X4 worked Fine....so i would say a BUG
  9. hey use -1 for start and 2 for increment not sayin its right but it posts out correctly (g54 and g55 displayed)using the mpmaster in X5
  10. looks to me like a thin part and the tool might be suckin the part up. Also you may need to take a finish pass to improve the finish
  11. I think you win a MASTERCAM T-shirt...How bout that!
  12. Well I just changed it to standard pocket and it worked fine it picked up the island depths... I guess I'll use island facing on something else. Thanks again for the input guys
  13. I could do 2 ops ...just thought this was simple enough. I just tried swithing the cut order. Screen Shot? of what? verify, parameters or wire geometry. and also how do bring the screen shot into the forum reply box ?
  14. I'm machining a simple pocket with island facing. It mills down to to the top of the island at full depth (-.413") then comes up and starts to mill the pocket in .125 depth cuts. (-.700 total depth) Why is it milling to top of island first? It should mill the whole pocket to top of the island then finish the pocket....Right? I've chained the pocket at the bottom of the pocket and the top of the island. It should work IDK...
