  1. In the settings configuration is default machines. Pick the one you want.
  2. Each material you set a standard SFM and chip load. Then each different tool is a percentage of that setting. I usually set the default for HSS. Say you have it set for 200 SFM and .005 chip for HSS. If you set carbide to 200% for both, you get 400SFM and a .010 chip. HTH

  4. I have the mpmaster-okuma posts. Do they have a mplmaster-okuma for lathes?
  5. Every horizontal indexer I have worked on moves with the pulse handle.
  6. It really depends on what heat treat condition it is. It can go from Granite to Kryptonite.
  7. Thad ole buddy, why not remote desktop to the wire computer and run it that way?
  8. 30 sfm is recommened for HSS IIRC I was running 125sfm with Iscar inserts. Haven't cut it in a couple years though What condition was it heat treated to?
  9. Anybody else ever try this software? It totaly rocks for EDM.
  10. are you selecting faces in the solid selection?
  11. set it in the control def. adjust feedrate on arcs
