Reciently received a VTL with live tooling, Its an O-M NEO - 10EX with a Fanuc OI-TD control. Programming is not a problem. but Zero returning the table is being questioned. It wants to Unwind. the wind up is like 3000deg so it takes a while. tried g91 g28 c0 Am I missing an Unwind code here? anyone had this similar problem?

email sent to reseller in 2014. said "no idea what these errors are" if it still works should be fine. Still bothers me. In Mcam 2017 log says cant open c-hooks. (see pic) Would like to Know if anyone else gets this error on startup. and any fixes? I attempted to copy the missing c-hooks from last version. Still same errors. Could pull the directors out of the .FT file. but I don't want to. yeah I know it still works fine but the engine light is on...

No guessing or missing dimension here. When the datum designator is aligned with the dimension lines, the datum = centerline of its feature. as shown at -A-, if designator is dragged off alignment as -C- is shown above thean the "EDGE" the designator is attached to is the datum. So.. the holes have to be tp of .019 to centerline of datum -A-

double sided tape, high rpm 1/8 max dia em, ramp down finish size profile to .002 off floor, NO TABS, part will pull off excess frame remaining on tape. easy cleanup with an exacto. also . I'll go half way, break all edges then finish thru. machined breaks are 1000x prettier than dotco. ^^

I've tried using Stock model, referencing a STL, and importing a mesh to use for verify of a surfacing tool-path. They all come in hollow. It's a Very large part. almost 100" x 80" x 26". I also tightened up the orig file stl tolerance to .0005. Any work arounds? or suggestions?

MCAM2017, edit tool... The "NAME" in general under finalize changes when say the "cutting length" is changed under "define tool" IE: was (1/2-13 TAPRH) .. change cutting length or any other variable it changed to (Right Handed Tap - 0.5) I could see if it grabbed a "standard size" from the define page but that one is (1/2-13 UNC Right-Handed Tap - 0.5). I like my descriptions. and don't want it to change at all... -

That would seem the logical fix. It does nothing. just creates geometry. in 9 the ribbon comes back when doing this . but not our 7 mu2. -
Ok, so a fellow colleague accidentally lost his Auto Cursor tool ribbon. Where is it? I was able to break this as well, Drag to graphics area, Right click , Hide. ---- boom gone forever. How to bring back without a registry wipe and reinstall. <-- seems drastic IMHO Mastercam FIX this.!? X7 mu2

Back bores and o-ring plunge tools Simulate as solid tools in verify. I really dislike this simulator/verify. Hope it gets better I swear at it every day.

Please add in a near future release... (Under solids manager tab) add a Transparency slider for each solid. maybe add the GEAR c-hook as a feature? (BTW I'm aware its machining software but i'm pretty sure the god awful ugly drafting end hasn't been updated ever with the exception of TTF. )

+100 A bug "fix list" should be reinstated or posted to sim holders only. also a Bugs created by X7 list ^^ Better setupsheets/documentation options. (community designed?)

Is there a download still available somewhere for Mastercam Demo disks? We had one a few years back we could send home with future programmers for training, They were limited to No Posting and No Saving. But still a great tool for Newbies or Sizing up material & getting cycle times.
