GO CUBS
Alt-f1 for screen fit command
You can use page up/page down or scroll mouse for
zoom/unzoom.
Alt-f8 will get you to Systen Configuation and in there go to toolbar/keys for various hot-keys that you can assign.

N120X.0201Z-.4306I.0196J0.
N122X0.Y.0101Z-.4167I-.0125J0.
Paul,
If the code broke into quadrants, you would get:
N118X0,Y,Z-,I-,J0
N120X-,Y0,Z-,I0.,J-
N122X0,Y-,Z-,I,J0.
N124X,Y0,Z-,J,I0. (WITHOUT CALCULATING)
But if that code works for you, then it will also work for me.
Thanks Paul.
Paul,

This is after I broke the geometry into four arcs.
(The same as a full circle)
marting,
How do you break the toolpaths into 90 degree arcs? I tried to break my geometry circle into 4 arcs, but the toolpath still came out as 180 degree arcs. I am also circle milling several paths and would like to keep them as full circle blocks.
I am milling a 3/4 npt hole. the numbers look good but the path is programmed in 180 degree arcs. Is this good enough for a npt thread? I've manually programmed them in 45 degree arcs.

when i change something and save it to the library with the same tool name - it gives me another tool with the same name and number.
--------------------------------------------------
This is one reason why I ALWAYS keep a second session of Mastercan running. When I change something on a current library tool, I go to the second session, go to nc utilities, define tool, (I'm at home but I think) current library, change library to the one you want, go to the tool to be changed, do the change,ok. I am constantly adding tools to the library and sadly constanting missing something that has to be changed.

.that means the top pc xy zero is at the lower left and the lower pcs xy zero is at the top left
-------------------------------------------------
Does this mean that your running two seperate toolpaths, mirroring one toolpath, or are the parts lower left, upper right?
-------------------------------------------------
Select NC Utils from main menu. Then Define tools. Right click in the window - change library, type new library name, then save. You can then create all your tools and set this library to the default in the config.
-------------------------------------------------
You can also do this as your programming your
current part. Instead of "get tool from library" just "create tool" define and save to your new library name.

been in the trade 6 years and those 6 years have been at this shop with an average raise of $2 a year
------------------------------------------------
is that 4 cents a week?
WCC
I'm a middle guy.
I usually get 3-4% per year. I'm told that i get 1/2% more than the shop average then round to the next $10.00. Around here (soutwestern Michigan) 3% would seem to be about average.
I can't get to your file, I keep getting a proxy error. (my problem) but you have two choices for setting up your part. First you can set your mastercam zero points at the virtual center of your pallet, then regen your toolpaths, or (prefered) you can write a macro to set new machine zero points and write your program to mastercam part zero.
If you have solids, make a solid of your part,go to solids, next menu, layout, set the level, set the views you want, set the options, hit ok and you will have all the views automatically. then dim each view as needed.
CAM,
If you want to finish your ramping at the start point, in the ramp options change from angle to depth. you will get two full circles in the example shown above.
