  1. You can use the G85 canned cycle, It does a feed retract.
  2. Some 5 axis machines using tool center-point compensation will error out if you use G0.
  3. Open your active *.Workspace file in a text editor and look for <AppLook>. You can change the number value to 1-12 to get different looks. Your workspace file is defaulted to \my mcamx9\CONFIG\
  4. Go in to the mcamx.config file and search for default machines. Change the path there and save it.
  5. Your Mastercam file would be better. Just looking at your solidworks model the origin is at the bottom of the stock center of the left side. If you touched off at the top of your stock at the machine that would be your 1.0"
  6. "Fit Curve From Chain" crashes X8 every time. Right after you pick your chain,
  7. That is handled in the post, it won't work with multiaxis cuts. you have to create a plane in Mastercam and use the 2d circmill in that plane. You can only output G02 and G03 in TOP, RIGHT or LEFT, FRONT or BACK planes unless your machine supports the creation of new planes but the setup for your post would very complex.
  8. You have to adjust your tolerances in the Control DEF. Change the "NC precision( minimum step value)" Start at .0254mm and increase the value until the z value goes away.
