I dont recommend altering! this puts liability for everyone who touches into your hands!

I think your missing the point(no offense), SAFETY is key in the interlocking system! Yes its a pain in the xxxx but you, your wife, kids and others will thank them! along with insurance companies. The answer is Make a new Key! your looking for a way to run with doors open? (Ive heard you can re wire or make a duplicate key for mazaks) im sure this will be the same as any others!
