  1. Okay (never mind) I found the window in the debugger that lists the NC Output and the postlines... (Happy Friday eve)
  2. Thank you for the replies JParis, Paul. I must admit I was looking for a very quick way to zero in on the post line that was creating the line of code. I am looking for the pxxx that inserts the A0. I don't have a lot of time to play right now. Next week, I hope more. I did run the debug utility, but since the post run fine without any errors, I didn't see what I was looking for. Kathy
  3. I used to use this all the time. Below is the default. I want to see the postline that outputs the code. bug4$ : 1 #Debug output with the tilde '~'. #A value greater the zero applies the variable formatting with #debug output (default is typically FS 1 but not a guarantee). #A value of zero gets the value directly with NO formatting. Of course I tried '~' but got an error.
  4. Jay, 'starry69' said it best. I wasn't aware that Komo moved their manufacturing over to China; I've been out of this world since 2006. However, our two Komo's at Applied where workhorses and produced a lot of good hardware. The two Thermwoods we had were just terrible, along with the attitude and non-support from Thermwood.
  5. And a big shout out to Jimmy from MCL CAD CAM for giving me the answer also! btw, I'm in class at Tempe now
  6. I had my work laptop re-imaged and Mastercam install. The nethasp license cannot be found when connected to our wireless network. However, the license is found and read when plugged into via a physical lan. Help! I have Mastercam class next week and I would like to access our setup via vpn.
  7. Does anyone know where to set the path for the keyboard map file in X7 verify? I have the 'my mcamx7' directory on our network and I'm getting the error that verify is looking for the file local. thanks in advance
  8. (Note to JParis - I started a new thread so as to focus on X7) Can anyone point me to documentation for to customize this setup sheet utility? I've read through all the older posts and cannot find an answer. I need to set the default path for the template file (default_xss.css) to point to a file on our network drive. Where in MasterCam can I access the data in the drop down menu fields? I would like to add custom fields i.e. programmer, part number, part revision, additional comments.
  9. We are not using the MasterCam / SolidWorks link so as not to tie up an active SolidWorks licence for 'non-design' work. We use the Windchill PDM to control SolidWorks CAD and it does a great job. We bypassed PDMWorks because it only handles SolidWorks CAD while Windchill will manage Pro/E, Catia, Unigraphics, Mentor Graphics, SolidWorks etc. We will be using Windchill to manage both the MasterCam source and output (.nc) files, but they will be stored as 'flat' document files. A bit more cumbersome and not as slick as the CAD file handling. However, the storage scheme will satisfy basic AS9100 7.5.1.3 requirements for configuration control.
  10. Wish PTC Windchill PDM had a work group manager for Mastercam. I'm struggling with setting things up in a multi-user environment and maintaining configuration control.
  11. That's where I'm starting. I did do some looking around and some of it is coming back to me...
  12. Wasn't there a manual? I've crawled through the debugger user's guide and the help files. But I remember a document that explained syntax and such. Any help appreciated! Kathy
  13. Just for tonight I'm going to be a Bronco's fan
