  1. I have been using active reoprts for X9 for a few years now with no issues. We upraded the computers from windows 7 to windows 10 and still no issues. A windows update was released and installed and 1 of 2 computers is now having an issue with active reports. It seems to take approx 1 min for the computer to put the screen shot up on the screen and the approx another min for the print dialog box to appear. Has anyone come across this? Before reinstalling Mastercam I was hoping for an easier fix.
  2. Here is the end of the program the two lines I would like to insert are right before line "N290 M05" N280 G01 X7.598034 Z12.7938 N282 G00 Y.5 N284 (TCP) N286 (UIO,Z(L370)) N288 G00 X7.598034 Y.5 Z12.7938 N290 M05 N292 G00 G79 Z(@ZPARKP1) N294 G00 G79 A0. C0. N296 G500 N298 M30
  3. I have very limited experience working with a post. I am doing some machining with a saw blade. When the program completes the saw blade continues to rotate for another minute or so after the M05 until it comes to a stop. I did find by entering these two lines in the code before the M05 it stopped with no problem (M03 S1000)(G04 P10). So by reducing the RPM and putting a slight delay in there I solved one problem. Now my second problem is being able to do this automatically without having to enter this code in every time. Is there a way to make this happen if I just choose a specific tool? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank You Here is the end of the program the two lines I would like to insert are right before line "N290 M05" N280 G01 X7.598034 Z12.7938 N282 G00 Y.5 N284 (TCP) N286 (UIO,Z(L370)) N288 G00 X7.598034 Y.5 Z12.7938 N290 M05 N292 G00 G79 Z(@ZPARKP1) N294 G00 G79 A0. 4. I am almost creating my report but i have one issue that is holding me up. For some reason the first 4 columns of my report are repeating themselves 3 times. I have tried to figure out what the cause is with obviously no luck. If some one could help me out with this it would be greatly appreciated. Please see attached image for reference.
  5. I have a 64bit computer running Windows Xp - I am using Mastercam X6 - We have three licenses for Router Plus and one floating license for Pro. The plus versions always starts with no problem but when i need to start the pro version i get an error "Error checking out a router level 3 license". Mastercam will load after I click the ok button on the error dialog box but will not have any 5 axis features available. The hasp was on another machine which was 32bit so we moved it to my machine thinking that may make a difference but it has not. The solution we came up with was to restart the services "HASP License Manager" and "HASP Loader" and then it will load with no problem. Does anyone have any suggestions or solutions for this problem?
  6. Hii Radical I appreciate what you did but it is not the result that I am looking for. What I am trying to accomplish is the result I get from operation 1 and 2 (refer to my original file) in one operation. Also sometimes this is not located on the edge of the part but could be in the middle. Reason being i get parts that will have several overlapping pockets that need to be mortised out and I would like to select them all and set my depth to incramental in one operation instead of having to write an operation for every pocket which can be time consuming.
  7. I figured out why it was not attaching and modified the original post - the file is now there
  8. I am not sure why the file is not attaching - but if you were to just take two squares at different heights and overlap them - you would then see what i am talking about if you just use the pocket command and try to program in one operation
  9. On almost a daily basis I have to write several programs where I have two pockets at different Z heights and they overlap each other. I have tried several different ways to cut this in one operation with out any success. So I always have to do two operations. If anybody can help me out with an idea or the answer to my issue that would be great. The material i am cutting is wood and usually ranges between an 1" to 1-1/2" in height - the pockets are usually about a 1/4" different in height and overlap each other by different dimensions. I need to cut from the outside in this is very important. I have attched a file showing and example of what I normally do and my problem. The two pockets on the left (operation 1 and 2) are what I normally do. The boxes on the right (operation 3) are my result whe i try to cut in one operation. I have tried dynamic are and area under 2d highspeed paths but they both start from the center and work out. Again if anyone can help that would be greatly appreciated. OVERLAP POCKETS.MCX-6
