  1. Run a Kennymetal Harvey 3 endmill. Start at 265 sfm. Should be able to go 300 no problem. Keep you Chip load around. .0009" to .0013" per tooth. 8% of diameter for radial.
  2. There are great videos online thru YouTube, if your work will pay for training there are good online courses you can take. The cost is reasonable they won't and you have a credit card. There are also Great forums on Facebook if you do a search for them. https://caminstructor.com/ https://streamingteacher.com/
  3. I think he meant double tap.............
  4. More than you want to spend but looks like it would be a great system. https://us.rego-fix.com/en/products/system/powrgrip
  5. Wait what?????? No bugaboos????? Turn yer magnet on...........
  6. Bob Wolcott has several in his shop and would be a great source. But alas it will take the all mighty Daniel to send Bob an email and let him know he can now log in since he got locked out when emastercam changed the system a while back.
  7. Used Calef once while our regular guy was on vacation. All I can say is keep an eye on them.
  8. If you run M00 with inattentive operators try multiple M00 with comment between such as M00 (remove clamps or crash) M00 (Don't be stupid remove the clamps) M00 (if you forgot the clamps and crash say good bye on your way out) Worked at a shop where I worked and the guy did say good bye on his way out.......
  9. If only there was some old timer that could step up and show a few tricks that he has up his sleeves. You know a power user that could show he still has it.................
  10. No matter what coolant you use coolant maintenance is a must. I have oil skimmers and aerators on the machines here. Next step is to get a coalescer. The cleaner you keep your coolant the longer it will last and the less bad bacterial build up you get. I'm using HANGSTERFER'S S500 CF here. http://www.zebraskimmers.com/oil_skimmer_products/portable_coalescer.html
  11. Daniel save it. You know you can or have the resources to. Consider the amount of people who come here profesional and student alike. He was one of your on line tutors, what a tribute to a friend, colleague and mentor to so many.
  12. Save it to IH, this way it lives on in Chris's name only. No one else needs to take the glory of what he started (it could happen and his name lost in the crowd). A lot of people come here for knowledge ne reason they should be able to see what a great person he was.
  13. I have 2 more brochures but they are too big to down load.
