  1. Nice workaround then. Where there's a will there's a way.
  2. OK. I'm guessing you have mill "entry" level. We only have "mill" and "3D".
  3. I think you can do it with mill level one. Right click in toolpath manager, mill toolpaths, wireframe.
  4. Byte, This is kinda like doing a 2d sweep manually. Have you ever tried 2d sweep? All you need is across contour and along contour. It's old school but it gives good clean code and is pretty simple to program.
  5. on your chains pick the arc center before the arc and then in lead in and lead out parameters select use enter/exit point.
  6. If I am inside of a hole I will use 135 degrees so that it has less of a chance of gouging the part. Old habit from before they had gouge check on entry/exit moves.
  7. JoshC solved the mystery . Thanks Josh
  8. I just opened a programmed part and some toolpath locks are yellow and some are white. Anybody know why?
  9. Yes, this is what I thought. All of our machine defs, control defs and posts are on the network so when he saves his defaults it changes the disk copy. not good. I told him to just load his defaults as he goes for now but I would look for a way to have his defaults load automatically. Thanks everybody. Sorry for any confusion as I know that I am having a hard time explaining this.
  10. My problem is the lead programmer has his defaults saved in the "machine group defaults" . Another programmer wants his defaults to come in preloaded. I told him to just go into "machine group properties" and load them at the start of a new job but he would like them preloaded.
  11. So you set the default operation defaults in your config and you set them in your machine group properties. The machine group seems to take precedence. Is there a way to make the config operation defaults take precedence? TIA Elmer.
  12. For the ones that are all ready programed select all tool paths and do a edit common parameters and renumber tools. Then do as #Rekd says and the rest will be in order.
  13. Create parallel lines from edges and then create point at intersection of lines.
