  1. Again you don't provide a file. Here is a sample like yourS with 4 bosses. Only goes up to start the next depth outside the part like it should since the stock is define correctly. Again you keep thinking were the idiots with that arrogance you keep not realizing you are putting out. No file and keep prompting two different CAM Software means you're a shill or a pirate. BIRD FLEW THE COOP REALITY CHECK
  2. Nope why they offer ICAM, but not going to even start a conversation about it.
  3. Cough Cough or CAMPlete. Cough Cough Vericut owned and used at 5th Axis CG Inc. have 105 different machines.
  4. Curve 5 Axis is you only choice. Make the motion from it and then use toolpath editor. Be nice if arc filter did just that and made arcs verse no filter on some tool paths that do make arcs, but I digress.
  5. File and tool path integrity is what that is really doing.
  6. Oh yeah many times. A feature for direction control of different things are timed to the thread.
  7. Is there something in the Probing macros that cancel G68.2? Would need to run them in single block and see if a G69 is called.
  8. To piggy back on this thought would be to make a surface of the vase shape. Then use trim to curves to trim the surfaces of each shape using normal verses plane and then use the above process to make them into solids if that is really what you are looking to achieve.
  9. What if one of the mi or mr triggers behavior in an operation? I have some that trigger tool inspection and parent child calls. I need the software to regenerate those operations and it drives me crazy when it doesn't and I then have to go back and do it myself. Are there things that shouldn't maybe, but seeing how at the first chance the software doesn't and someone gets and error or worse yet a crash of their machine then who will they feel when the software didn't make those operations dirty? You answered you own reasoning for it with your last sentence.
  10. Went back and re-looked at this 5 times and Mastercam goes about it the same exact way when doing an OPTI-Rough. Like others have said not on maintenance then not a problem. A simple Mastercam file will be good enough, yet after all the insults thrown at a tool I use to feed my family and keep a roof over heads along with be a racist against am being an American thinking you know me when you clearly don't still supports my thinking you are like 100's of people over the last almost 21 years using a pirated version of the software. I will be glad to share my over 5000 emails between me and CNC software over the last 15 years about thing I want done better in Mastercam so you can get off your high horse about how you think you are the only one that wants the software to be better. English lesson here. Definition of perfect from Websters: Defined in English In Tradition Chinese: Like I said originally your definition of perfect and my definition of perfect are at different ends of the spectrum. Doesn't crash the machine hurt the part and take into account a 100 different things it needs to make a good part then that is perfect. How much time if what you consider not perfect account for in a 40 hours roughing cycle where we are removing 7000lbs (15,400 kilos) of material from a part? That is the longest running roughing cycle I have ever run on one part. Before that same type of part was being roughed in 100 hours. If the not feed down to next move at 1200ipm was 1% of total time and didn't scrap the part or create a situation where I got a gouge or other thing that would have scrapped a $50,000 piece of Material than it did a perfect job in my book. Going by your definition of perfect the maybe 6-7 minutes of feed moves between transition coming up verses going down in an open space make it less than perfect then you have a very valid point. I considered it a lot less since the part had a lot of closed pockets in it. Lets have CNC Software not release another thing from the software until one user out of over 500,000 have decided this must be done. My hard earned money out of my personal pocket that pays their salary along with the over 400 different customers I have worked or work with also don't have any say and every resource must be dedicated to address the less that perfect situation you have yet to provide a Mastercam file showing must be addressed. Cannot fix and imaginary issue someone cannot prove with facts(Sample file). Sorry I am the a$$hole than many think I am here. You have have followed to the letter and method what 100's of pirates and trolls using the software illegally have followed for over the last 20 years, but you are!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have my website out there with my personal cell phone number. I have who I am and what I am out there also. I got no problem standing in the middle of a room full of people and saying no that is not right. That is all I am doing here is saying your approach and method to get an answer is not correct here and making me out to not like Asian's is just being more of an a$$hole than me.
  11. Axis sub will not machine a 5 axis feature. That is a 5 Axis feature the walls are not normal to the radius. Even Multi Axis Pocket will have issues with that to make the walls perfect. It would rough nicely, but that will need to be done on a 4 Axis with 4 Axis Swarf to finish the walls. You don't have Multi Axis so then will need to machine that in 3 operations.
  12. YEAH years of complaining finally paid off.
  13. Generic Post says it all to me. No File sorry not in the mood to play 100 guesses.
  14. Same with push pull and move in Model Prep if tool paths are made to a dumb solid.
  15. Glad you got the results you were looking for. Again not sure what good it does you if the company will never go past the version you have, but you are happy you got to get it off your chest so I guess there is that. Still have yet to see a file so sorry if I take what your saying with a bit of skepticism.
