Hi, I am facing a new problem. I have a finishing tool that has 10 degree angle. the sharpest part of the tool diameter is 0.197 inch and the out side diameter is 0.825 inch. the flute is almost 1.78 long. Whenever I want to use this tool the software automatically create the tool path based on the outside diameter even for the really short like 1/4 inch depth cut. I have tried almost all of the tool types but it is the same I guess the software does not recognize the angle. for example, I tried to do a 3 inch pocket with the depth cut of 0.1 inch, the tool path was the same for the whole pocket as i assume it has to get bigger after each depth cut due to the angle of the tool. let me know if you guys know any solution to this. thanks

Hi, I have an issue with my swept 2d command. I have attached the file so [please look at it to understand what I mean. I have used 2 swept 2d command for the attached program, the one on the bottom works fine and it creates the tool-path perfectly, but the top shape make the tool-path to continue the arc shape as a half circle. I have tried many thing such as, mirror, opening new file, same problem. I had this issue before but when I flip the drawing I could solve it. but in this drawing I cant do that as the swept 2d has to be in that direction please help.... thank you M12.MCX-5

Hi, I have a question, I am using the mastercam X5, v1 and i have been using it for almost 2 weeks. I am trying to create an arc shape toolpath with using the swept 2d option. However i keep getting an error. the error is" warning- the along contour does not lie in a defined view". please help and let me know if there is any way to fix this
