  1. Thanks gcode, Your suggestion worked like a charm.
  2. (Mastercam 2018) At the program level, is there a way to handle cutter comp cancellation at the end of a helix bore operation? With a perpendicular entry, I'm getting a good block of code with G41 with a G1 move. At the end, I'm getting a bad block of code with a G40 on a G3 move. My machines cannot cutter comp on anything other than G1 moves. Thanks for your help, Mark Code example... T5 (T5|0.375 DIA. 3. Yes, I've been able to merge the stl onto a level. But then I can't find a way to use that meshed STL as my stock body for verify. Unless I select "file", I don't see a way to choose it under the "Stock Setup" tab or the "stock" tab under the "Backplot/verify" options.
  4. Hi, If I have a part with multiple operations, a lot of times, I like to create a separate Mastercam file for each. And when I do, I often save the Verify result as an STL file in order to get a stock body for the next operation. I'd like to know from anyone if they're able to Merge the STL file into Mastercam, place it on a level, and select it as the Stock Body to use in Verify. I currently have to select my stock as a file. Thanks in advance for your help, Mark
  5. JParis & JoshC, I watched the video and tried your suggestions. Works like a charm. Thank you very much!!! Regards, Markypete
  6. Hello fellow users. This is my first post in the eMastercam forums. Thanks in advance for any help. (Mastercam 2017 Mill) Is it possible to select multiple solid stock bodies for cut part simulation in "Verify?" For example, a set of soft jaws. Usually I separated the fixed and movable jaws by a gap of .125". Technically, each jaw is a solid body. I did read about saving the two jaws as STLs. I can also connect the two solids jaws by bridging them together with a solid piece in between. but I'd like to know if there's another way. Another example is machining multiple pieces that are separated by space. If I plan to machine them simultaneously, how would I go about setting up my stock bodies for Verify? Thanks again, markypete
