  1. The problem we have is the .NC name. Can not FTP a file more than 5 letters long( 12345.NC). I have done it on other 30i controls but not this model A.
  2. It appears not to be a .NC file type.
  3. Hello all We just got MC2019 lathe for our Mazak lathe, with Mazatrol Smart controller. I did not see Mazak listed in the control definitions. Is there a similar format used by one of the machines listed or do we have to request one through mastercam ? thanks
  4. Hello all We have MC 2017 and I found several training files(design, solids, import mill advanced, etc.). these files contain several drawings and models, some are labeled as a specific task to perform. I can not locate a pdf. Training booklet to coincide with these files. My question is, if we have all these files does that mean we should have the pdf. of the training booklet and if so where would it be located and what would be the name and type of file? Thanks
  5. Hello all Due to the large number of tools and a limited magazine size, I have to use different "H" values in relation to the "T" tool number. example T23 is my taping head so I have to use H23, H63,H103 for the different tap lengths used on the same tapping head. Mastercam is generating the same "H" number as the "T" number regardless of what is set in the tool library. For example 1/2-13 tap is T23 H103, but when the program is posted, it will come out T23 H23. It only started doing this recently. Where are the settings to read from the library and not default the H to the T number. Thanks
  6. Our lathe operator is having an issue so I thought I would post this on here for him: Hi if anyone can help that would be appreciated. I'm working on a Mazak QT-Smart 250M. It's a Mazatrol Smart control. The issue I'm having is with the TNC compensating correctly when boring. I'm using the conversational programing and have the tool info set up properly on the tool data page with the correct tool nose radius. When I run that tool it cuts 2x the radius below what I have programed. Not sure if it has something to do with the parameters but I have tried the user parameter F92,F93,F94 and have tried setting bit 7=1 for all three. When cutting OD everything is fine with the radius compensation so I'm confused why I'm having this issue with ID turning. Please help??? Apparently T6 will cut with proper offset but T11 will not....
  7. FIXED... http://forum.mastercam.com/Topic27513.aspx?Update=1#bm27596
  8. MC appears to be working if I ignore the popup window. I can move the model adjust parameters and even test the tool path. So why is this window popping up is the big question. Its when I attempt to close the Mastercam Crash Reporting window that it closes down MC.Going to try a previous dot.
  9. Yes. it was working fine yesterday then I closed a model and tried to open a new one and now it crashes just before completely opening. Very frustrating researching and trying fix's. Very time consuming

  11. Hello all Mastercam 2017 was working this morning on windows 10. I closed a drawing and when opening another mastercam opens and crashes b4 loading a drawing. Anyone having this issue? wondering if its a windows update issue. thanks
