  1. I tried enabling ftp folders and it opens it on mine also when dragging and dropping to the ftp.
  2. I believe some of the blend tools in Pro E dont get recognized correctly in Mastercam.. is your Pro E designer using any of the blend tools in Pro E? Thats were I would start.
  3. Seems rather odd that I cant vertical the stock piece... seems no matter what I do it looks like it is laying horizontal vs. vertical. Something wrong with the piece setup? I am in Stock view (top) centered on the Z and its not correct. Piece lays horizontal.. using the AGIEVISION 4X WIRE
  4. so if I didnt make any changes I cant answer that incorrectly.. Nice... bulletproofin the software.. what will they think of next.
  5. If I look at it wrong it will asks me I thought it might be trying to edit the bitmap thumbnail and was wanting to recapture that... I disabled the bitmap saving with no luck.
  6. I get this even though I havent changed a thing. I open a file, rotate it to view it and go to get another file and it asks me if I wish to save it. I cant figure out what it is thinking I changed.
  7. is there any kind of alignment tool after the import of the iges file? dont know if the alignment part of this web page helps or not. just tryin to find something..
  8. I cant see the yellow in color cause it wont allow me to see the picture... in your 5th operation.. under your cut parameters... maybe you want your tip comp set to "tip" instead of "center" ?
  9. quote: I'm with Henry and Matt on this one. Never Ever scale! Any of the other options work well. Either lie about the cutter size or just leave negative stock. I see a few of us have gotten "burnt" on the scaling quote: One other thing: .0015 ps and .0085 ps. isn't very much overburn. We almost always use .015-.030 on roughers and .003-.005 on finishers. I have to agree with you I would bet it would cut your burn time in half if you do as Beej suggested. Specially on those finishers... small orbits will restrict the amount of power it can use. Even allowing the .005 on the finishers would help speed up the time tremendously. JM2C
  10. quote: only a Hass indexing head sorry should have read a bit closer..
  11. quote: but we do not have 4th axis machine, only a Hass indexing head. The rotary indexer gives it the 4th axis... X,Y,Z,and your rotary A.
  12. I get my fonts from here... fonts download the ttf font and unzip it... put the ttf into your Windows-fonts folder and I believe it will show up in your Mastercam ttf list. toolpathing will be just a contour toolpath using axis substitution...basically wrapping the lettering around a diameter you give it... I program the rotary from center.. email me if you need a hand and I might get a chance to help ya.
