  1. Hi Cmr The only one I know of is when the operator wedges a large piece of stock in ours to seize it up.
  2. Hi all Our Haas-fadal's hold about .0005 (per side) Our OKK's are a bit better, but we still have to fuss with them for any real true positioning. This is my method (when it's practicle) I put a point in the center and use it as the first chain, and the full circle for the second chain. I use both entry and exit lines and arcs with entry and exit points checked. Sometimes I still have to useboreing heads, custom carbide form tools, and reamers. There just doesn't seam to anything that works for everything.
  3. Thanks for all the support guys. For those of you that want to try the converson, I put a copy of each of Jay's FTP under "files to be converted for MC" If we can't use or find an easeier way, I will be starting the Mastercam labor way on Friday . (the customer will be of no help on this one) Wish us luck Scott
  4. Good Morning I was just hoping that I missed some magic feature from version 7, or 8. Thanks
  5. Hi all I receaved some boeing files that are all wire, and they are 3-d wire, but there are no surfs. Is there a simple way to make surfaces to the wire frame. I know we have some labor intensive options, but i'm looking for a "fix the problem" button. Thanks , Scott
  6. Would it be possible to adjust the stock size of op-1 in verify so that one side of the material is at y=0, then with the stl gets created the front of the stl would be a lathe profile.
  7. .70 A POUND,(U.S.) For .80 a pound I need over 100 pounds. For .70 an insert I would need a skimask and a gun.
  8. .70 cents, maybe .80 if you have a lot.
  9. The only fact I need is an accusation .
  10. a RAthER disturbing report just in::: We have a document that shows J.M.'s beanie propeller was in fact made with Surfcam.
  11. thoskins, I am not convinced the dealer would say that solids wouldn't apply to this type of project. Would it be possible to have anothet talk with your dealer with the specific question you asked us here? Or show him a copy of this thread.
