Hi, I'm new to MC 2017 Doing a tutorial and went to set up a rough and set the Chaining. I select the points as the tutorials points out and click OK then I get an error "The contour does not lie in the construction plane" not sure what to do here. I looked at my existing planes in Plane Manager all set to 0. Anyone got any advice?

I bought a tech pub from amazon for master cam x8. I went to install the home edition from the disc provided with the book and it failed to install because it could not find a "resource library". Can I get an new install online? Or a replacement disc? This is a purchase made in July of 2017. Appreciate any and all advice.
