Sounds like a training and a support issue .....I just left a situation you about stepped into.....Okuma suggest esprit ..... the client ( good friend of mine ) bought esprit ...after 90 days of wasted time trying to get a good program .... he came back to Mastercam ..... His claim was there was hardly any control in Esprit.......no backplot for a quick glance Of the tool Paths created before full machine simulation.... The machine was a multis B axis ....sub with lower turret as well........he is running the part that esprit tripped on ..... once the secrets are unlocked and taught to the client ..... I’ve witnessed attainable good code

You Are correct Colin... More tools in the cabinet....before the interface changed .... They where easier to find

They pull it from an engine....I Know the that format.....the dude is talented ...and he has talented people working with him They basically make a post engine...depending what features you want in the post....they just plug it in from the post engine....

I would lean towards video card setting or different driver...... might go into the advanced configuration and “disable hardware acceleration “ I’ve seen that help the issue

We used to do them on the lathe... G32 with a boring bar full radius insert... Pretty simple actually.... I can show a sample program if interested.

Might look into productivity plus, pretty seamless.... Worked first time thru when the Renishaw guy was in town. Pretty easy to set-up too.
