What is most interesting is the posts that we got directly from our MC reseller are far from being accurate. The Okuma post we got was awful. These were not custom posts. They seem to be the same posts that they have been handing out for years. Are we to believe that we were the first people to run these posts? It looks to me like they are deliberately sending out bad posts in order to get you to pay more for customizing a post for a standard machine. It's just a 2 axis lathe. Nothing special. Like you said, if you do not have a lot of experience in posts, or operating the machines, you are really at the mercy of the software company.

Out of curiosity, to you have older versions of MC installed? I am not experiencing this in 2019; but, I was in 2017. I do not have older versions installed.

Put precision on lowest setting. If you are recording, put quality on lowest. Verify either runs way to fast or way too slow.

I am seeing a lot of problems with 2019.

I use chamfer mills from harvey with precision flats.

I do not have any problem snapping to the center. The problem is whenever I do snap to the center the diameter is locked.
