  1. Hi all I am wondering how easy or hard it would be to add a B axis to the Mpl Master Lathe post to allow more a 3+2 machining and not full 5 axis I would also like to add a line for tiling work plane I have done a few edit to this post to suit my machine but this is the last main one required. Failing that is there a Generic MT post that has The B axis that would be easier to edit Thanks and Kind Regards Graeme
  2. Hi I have managed to get this to work using Mics values so I have problem solved Thanks
  3. HI all Looking for some help and advice, I have a mill turn post for our machine that had a b axis milling head spindle and a main and sub spindle, Our post wasn't selecting the correct spindle when doing milling it always seemed to default to the main spindle so I have had a look. I looks like the spindle selection on the mtlchg$ was the same as the spindle selection for the ltlchng$ it was based on which spindle was active which seemed fine for turning but not for milling as I think with only one milling spindle there isn't other to choose from. Most of our milling on the sub spindle is done at B180 so for the moment I have done the following #n$, [if spindle_no$, "G112"], "M302", e$ n$, if bout = 180, "G112","M300",e$ else, "M302",e$ The Commented out area is what the code was like . I know this will only cover when B axis is at 180. what other way could I do this to allow selection of the sub when B axis is between 90 and 180. I know I can use greater than and lest than but 90 gets used on the main spindle too so I'm not wanting the two option to collide with what to select. I was planning on using Misc function 0 for main spindle and 1 for sub but when I filled in the text at the bottom of the post it wouldn't show in the Misc fields on the operations and in the CD it is set to select text from post file. Thanks in advance Graeme3529
