Hi
I can only seem to get a value of 0.075 as my smallest value in my smoothing tolerance as standard default.
If I reduce my Total Tolerance to the minimum this allows me to go down to 0.03 on the smoothing tolerance but i have seem people with there value lower.
Could someone advice what's the best way to get a lower value into this setting .
The process I'm doing is C axis milling so looking to keep it neat for best possible result at the machine.
Attached below is a picture of my settings
Thanks Graeme
Hi all
I have modified the MPLMASTER lathe post to suit our puma with live tooling
The problem I'm having is when I output for C axis milling the X values are outputting in diameter instead of radial
I have changed the following switch to change this but doesn't seem to be changing it
#Interpolation Output Settings
g107crad : 0 #0 = radius, 1 = diameter
g112address : 1 #0 = Y, 1 = C
Is this the correct place to change this if not could someone help me out please
Kind Regards Graeme
Thanks Guys managed to sort with the tseqno not sure how the pparameters work.
I have another one if someone could help when posting out the C axis seems to be continuous instead of just going to 360 then back to zero. Could anyone point me in the correct direction to sort that please
Thanks Graeme
Hi all I have been editing the MPLMASTER post to suit one of our lathes with live tooling.
At the moment when I post out i have a N number at each new operation but the number equals the tool number in use.
How can I change it so the N number matches the Operation number ie.
For operation 1 = N1 and so on.
Thanks in advance for any help
Graeme
Hi All
I am having a issue with model chamfer if I select multiply faces instead of doing a continuous chamfer along the faces selected it want to come up at each change of direction.
It rolls around if there is a rad but if its straight faces it want to come up to retract height.
Has anyone had this issue a been able to resolve it
Thanks
Graeme
Thanks for the Replies
I know how to select the the machine option maybe my explanation was wrong. I was wondering where the values come from and if I would be able to change them.
When Machine option is selected my home position in the program is X250. Z250.
How would I change it so I can have X500. Z500. when posting but still with machine selected.
Thanks
HI

Hi
I have notice since installing the 2021 version that my T Plane and C plane are not updating when I toggle between Top, Front, Right and Back views could there be a setting I'm Missing.
I normally Toggle between the main views using Alt and 123.... etc. When doing this my T Plane and C Plane don't seem to update to suit the view and I'm having pick them in the plane manager.
Thanks

Hi
When using 5x Swarf Cycle I get a crash when running on verify.
I am machining a tube with my WCS on the centreline of the tube at one end.
When running my cycle through verify once the cycle is complete to wants to go to the X0Y0Z0 position is there a way to stop this as the code output looks ok.
Thanks Graeme
Hi when we do our setups we use solidworks then use mastercam direct to import into mastercam.
Is there a way once we apply out operations and run it thru verify we can save the stock to allow us to use for the next op setup in solidworks ? I know we can save stock as stl but solidworks will open stl but we cant do anything with the stl file.
Any help would be appreciated
Kind regard Graeme
