  1. Hi guys, I recently calibrated some probes on our Mitutoyo Euro-C-A574 CMM, using MCosmos and I noticed that the master probe (Tree 1, Probe 1) which is a 3mm ball calibrated bigger than the rest of the probes in that tree. The other probes were in and around 2.990 but the master probe was reading dead on 3.000. I checked this against a setting ring and it was reading about 0.01 different to what the ring was calibrated at. I recalibrated this and got it reading similar to the other probes and got it to measure the setting ring within 0.001 of the calibrated size. All I want to know is, is there a way to change the limits when calibrating probes so that if for example the standard deviation is past what we would deem acceptable, the machine would then bomb out and let me know that the probe is out of limits. Bearing in mind we work with tolerances as tight as ±0.003mm. Cheers
