  1. oh ok, thanks! it seems like I have oriented it right, Mine are just made in Quadrant #4. I can see that the nose of your Holder, is in the origin point. my holders have the start of the taper (spindle flange) in origin. Thats's where my problem is, is there any solutions to fix it? or Do I have to start from the bottom and make them again?
  2. Hey, So I have used quite some time now to create a full library of all the tools and holders we have at our workshop, I am still not done but getting there. I love the tool manager so far, but I there are some things I dont like and features I feel are missing. Yesterday I created over 80 new holders, I made them from the specifications I could get from the manufacturer. They didn'thave any CAD models so I had to draw/sketch them manually by looking at the catalogue. It turns out I did something horribly wrong... I created the holders with the origin at the spindle flange and the holders projected downwards (down in top view). I should have made them with the nose of the holders at origin and the spindle flange side upwards... or at least it seems like I should have don it this way. I then Imported them per Level. whenever I try to use theese holders they work fine in Backplot and setting projections in the toolpath menu, the problem comes when I try to use the simulator... when using the Simulator it moves the Holder down, or the Tool upwards so that the projection length is measured from the spindle flange side of the Holder.... I can't figure why, and I have used the whole day trying to figure out a solution without having to go through all the holders again. it took some time, and it would be like starting over again. The simulator is essciential to me as I run a 5-axis machine. Can anyone help me solve this? I have attached some photos to try to illustrate the problem. the photo name was an attempt to describe the photos.
  3. it's a nethasp I guess... ^^ We got everything on mail and downloaded/installed it on that work computer, we have it hooked up to codemeter. so does that mean I'm stuck to using codemeter then for licensing?
  4. We have a copy of Mastercam 2020, we have it installed on the computer at work but I would like to access mastercam at home as well. The work computer is offline because we don't have a wifi router there at the moment. is it possible to do it via USB or a portable hard drive? just like having a portable hasp license.
