Hello everybody. I hope somebody could help me :). I have a vbscript that merges files into a new one (the one I save with SaveMCAs) and when I want to open it with the OpenMC function within the same script at the end of it, it doesn't open it for me. However, if I open it manually I have no problems and the content is what I have mounted inside my script with the importFile and MergeMC. Any ideas on how I can open the file from within the script? Thanks in advance. -
Mastercam X4 lathe has been giving me an error for the past few days that I cannot figure out. It keeps telling me that my tool is colliding with my stock—after the stock has been set up—but there is no clear indication of where the tool collides with the stock. Also, it only happens with one specific tool while doing a specific face. I've tried messing around with Tool Clearance option in Stock Setup as well as DOC, but nothing. I have attached three pictures that include the tool Mastercam is failing with, the parameters I am using and the error I get on the geometry I am running. There are other tools I can use to program with, but we have alwas used this tool and we're trying to verify all of our parts, except this cannot be done if every time we try to regenerate we get this error. I am trying to set up a toolpath for a solid object originally created in Autocad Inventor. the solid object is a bottom side of a skateboard for a skateboard press. the other side was directly imported and CNC'd with no errors or problems but whenever i try to set up a toolpath for this object i get an error reading: Unable to extract (at least) one solid face. I imported it as an stl. and am stumpted. If anyone has any ideas as to what the problem could be your advice would be greatly appreciated.
