  1. I have multiply part files in my folder. They have been one part-file from the beginning with groups "program1, program2, program3..." Someone in my team did not like this and split the file into 15 part files. My question is: Is it possible to merge this part files into one file again? I have tried merging the files but only get the geometry added. Merging or importing the toolpath seems to be not easy.
  2. I have two files i would like to overlay and compare, like in Mastercam. If i drag the second solid model in, it automatically opens a new window. (I have not explored how to work with or create assemblies, if that is indeed the procedure to use here) There is no merge option in the file menu Thanks in advance Rick
  3. I have a DWG solid model that I have brought in to MasterCAM. It has a bunch of elements that are displayed in the level viewer but that are not visible in the graphics window. Zoom all doesn't show them regardless of the visiblilty settings. Is there any way to change this so I can clean it up? I can work around it but would like to know.
  4. I am currently using a stand-alone probing software. It works great. I machine big plugs for the Marine industry using a Poseidon 5780, with a 18m x 6m x 3m machining area, and because the machine is basically in a tin shed, temperature affects my tolerances to a huge degree. Anyway, i generally start of by machining a hole in a piece of tooling block. This hole is my reference hole which i use for "Re-aligning" my Work Plane as i work through the day/night. I can probe this hole after a few hours of machining, do a "BEST FIT", which creates a new Work Plane for me, which i then export as an ".IGES" file, which off course is empty, bar the new Work Plane. My question is: I can "File Merge/Pattern" this ".IGES" file, and obviously it is empty, but i was wondering if it brings the Work Plane with it, and is there a way of "Activating" this work plane in my Plane Manager, and setting this as my new WCS??? Any other ideas?
