We have been unable to use FBM. When we attempt to use it, it crashes our desktop. Our mastercam rep programmed our part in FBM mill and sent it to us. We can open it. When we click into parameters........it crashes. it has been pulling up a Microsoft box pertaining to excel. Any thoughts or insight would be appreciated.

Hello, I was wondering if someone could send me the parameters for both CIMCO and the fusion 640M so that I can transfer programs to the machine. We have to do it via the usb to 25-pin connector as the floppy drive does not work. This method does work as we have loaded programs on the the machine through CMT. We have only ever run mazatrol programs on this machine, and I am quite new to masterCAM. Thanks for the help in advance.

yasnac Yasnac MX1 parameters set up HELP!

Please help. I have an Acroloc series 10 with a yasnac MX1 and was sitting in storage for about 17 years. Finally got it working manually but I cannot get the controller to let me set the parameters even after I set the thumbwheel to "1" and parameter line #6219 or #6259 (this one worked for our MX3) . Any thoughts? Which positions do you set the mode switch to? Is there anything else that needs to be done to unlock the parameter settings? Thank you , any help would do. -
I've just started using X8 - i think it is fantastic. I'm looking to find the parameters for the Description, Manufacturer name & Manf Tool Code in the 'General' Field of the Tool Manager. I would like to get them into my Tool List. Thanks in advance for any help, and retro thanks for all the help you guys have been in the past, I have picked your collective brains for several years as a browser and have benefited greatly from your knowledge . Digging through the forums I've learned that it's possible to automatically launch a c-hook on Mastercam startup by passing it as the first command line argument: "C:\Program Files\mcamx6\Mastercam.exe" C:\path\to\MyChook.dll Is it possible to access other command line parameters from a C-hook context? For example if I wanted to specify a config file for my c-hook on the command line: "C:\Program Files\mcamx6\Mastercam.exe" C:\path\to\MyChook.dll C:\path\to\MyConfig.txt I tried running Mastercam from a separate directory but it seems to change the CWD back to it's home in Program Files. Any advice?
