  1. When using the Module Works Simulator sometimes the Automatic Position setting will no longer place my work in the correct position. Then I have to change to Translated Position and set everything to zero to put it back in place. Does anyone know what causes this to occur. I have two saves of the same file where in one automatic positions it correctly and on the other it floats. The second one I was in process of making some viewsheets and when I went back to simulate the part was floating. I think creating the viewsheets was the only thing I changed so I don't understand why that would cause my part to be floating in space in the Simulator. Please let me know if you can shed some light on this
  2. Trying to figure out why when I verify some programs the display comes out choppy or pixelated. Other programs display smooth. In the smooth displaying verification in the bottom right corner there is a processing bar marked Enhancing Model. But this doesn't appear in the choppy version. I am running Mcam 2018. Windows 7 64-bit, and updated my graphic drivers to most recent version trying to fix the issue First pic is the smooth cutting one. Second is the choppy / pixelated one. Verified and screen shot right after each other. They are both relatively the same scale, so it's not a matter off zooming in too far. Am i missing something simple here??
  3. Hello; My name is Nihat BOZDEMİR can you help me There is image disorder in the MASTERCAM program. Is there a solution for this kind of problem.
  4. Hello, I'm having issues with the Simulation Stock settings resetting randomly. I would set it to a stock model or a pmesh but randomly it resets to the default stock settings. Does anyone know how to stop this from happening and stay on the stock I've selected? Thanks, Greg
  5. Hello All I am seeking help on Mastercam Simulator with regards to part position. As you can see in the picture attached, the part is positioned through my Z axis cover. My XYZ+ directions are all in the proper direction per the machine. I played with "workpiece_transform rotaion about Y " to get the part to visually look correct but i can't get it to stay that way and simulate correctly. I know this isn't much info, so ask me what you need and ill try to answer. Thanks in advance!
  6. I recently changed computer and after everything got back to normal I noticed that the verify / simulator is showing very rough graphics. As seen on the printscreen the precision is set to full and the enhancement is 100% but still dos'nt get any better than this. Before it was smooth even on half precision. What went wrong?
  7. I'm wondering how many people have found that verify, since X7 to 2017 just doesn't perform as fast or as accurately as X6. I have included a link to a Mastercam MCX-6 file, that will show anyone that's interested in comparing, what we have been experiencing on many files. I have also included a link to the completed verify in both X6 and 2017. Our settings in STL compare can be seen in the part verified links. As far as time to verify this part goes, X6 verified in 12 seconds and compared in 1 second whereas 2017 verified in 2 minutes and 16 seconds and compared in 16 seconds with inferior results. We have been in contact with our re-seller many times but they have not been able to give us a satisfying answer to this point. Our re-seller tells us that CNC software is working on it. It's been 4 years already, so I hope that they're nearly done. 8. Is there a setting somewhere where the stock will display black edges? A few times it will show the black edges but most of the time it doesn't. Curious if it's a mastercam setting, a simulator setting, or it's not supposed to happen. Thanks!
  9. I'm running X9 beta 3. Seems as though the simulator doesn't show toolpaths generated for letter geometry. When I backplot it does show the tool cutting below the top surface. Is anyone else having the same issue? Is there a setting for this?
  10. I havent been able to figure this out, I am able to simulate everything on my parts except my threadmill paths, I have created all of the threadmills in the tool manager, but when I simulate the paths I get an error, I have attached a screen shot.
