Hi all, I have an issue with my Cimco Edit 8 not starting up. I worked with my IT support twice to try and resolve this. They installed more visual studio files and Microsoft files they even reinstalled Mastercam and all we did was get the error message to change to "The application was unable to start correctly (0xc000007b). Click OK to clost the application" The original error message was "The code execution cannot proceed because MSVCR100.dll was not found. Reinstalling the program may fix this problem." Please let me know if you have ever encountered something like this or if you know how to fix. I might try to reinstall MCAM again considering the first reinstall was done before some of those visual studio files were installed. -
I want to program a communication software like Cimco Edit, which changes some things on the posted file and copies it to the right place. This is all no problem, but when I select my app in the Mastercam configuration -> Communication it still opens Cimco Edit. How can I make Mastercam pass the path of my app? I have already tried with Serial Port and set the same settings that Cimco has I program on Visual Studio 2017 with VB.NET Thanks for your help -
I am trying to remove the block numbers from showing in CIMCO editor. It was setup up to bring in the program into the editor without the block number. Someone tweeked the post (now block numbers are back!!).Getting tired of manually turning them off. Is there a way to do this in the post, MC, or CIMCO. I cant seem to find the right place to do so? . Using MasterCAM X6 Lathe, CImco Editor. TIA for any help!!
