Hi everybody, I'm new in the forum and using mastercam and solidworks... I have solidworks 2013 and mastercam X5, and I was wondering how to open the solidworks parts in mastercam x5, I know I can save them as .IGES or .DWG (autocad) and open them in mastercam x5 but when it comes to start the program for milling, I cannot select any line neither the center of any hole, any idea of what's happening or any suggestion? Thanks!

Creating Legend for Drawings in Mastercam? Is it possible?
ShawnW posted a topic in Industrial Forum
I hope i'm in the right forum forum for this. I work for an aerospace company which is currently going for it's AS cert and need to figure out an easy way to insert a legend into the operational drawings i'm making with MasterCam X7. And no I'm not talking about Babe Ruth. LOL It simply consists of a form number on the lower left and on the lower right a part number, op number, date, etc. Like a footer but it is set by default and is changeable each time. Really appreciate anyone's help as I'm no software expert, just an OK engineer. Shawn
