I will start by saying I am unfamiliar with multi axis toolpaths. i am having issues getting this swarf pass on the yellow highlighted surfaces, I do believe that im headed in the right direction tho. the tool seems too roll in at the wrong angle at the start of the pass and roll out at the wrong angle as well. i am using tilt lines for my "advanced control". below is some snippets of my part and toolpath parameters. i would be interested in sharing this file for someone to take a look the machine is a horizontal with 500mm tombstones, thanks much

Hi everyone, granted that I am a beginner in using mastercam, I need help on the following topics: Implementation of rotation around B-axis (i.e. rotation about Y axis) with MPFAN post-processor (Mastercam default machine). I would like to use Mastercam default machine as an horizontal milling center with axes of motion XYZB. How should I set up the WCS and CPlane/TPlane to obtain rotation about B-axis? Any suggestions or tips would be welcommed. Thanks in advance. -
Has anyone heard of a Fanuc robotic arm being adapted to create a pallet changer for a horizontal machine? There are arms out there with enough lifting capacity for a pallet and tombstone, and the positioning accuracy to place it in the machine. I am curious because at my current location I am cramped for space and it would be tough to fit a standard pallet changer, but a large robotic arm could do the trick if it could be made to work.
