Currently we only have one user that uses Mastercam 2018. On a different old computer we have Mastercam X6 installed and using Nhapsx the user of 2018 is able to grab the license from the older comp running X6. Is their a way for our one 2018 user to have the Nhaspx license on his comp so that the older comp running X6 can be done away with. Sorry if this is a bit vague, I don't use Mastercam myself, I'm IT just trying facilitate moving the hasp to a different machine.

Hello guys, This is my first time posting here, and I am a real beginner when it comes to Mastercam. I'll try to make it as easy to understand as possible. First, some basic info: Software : Mastercam X6 (Japanese Lang.) OS : Windows 7 SP1 (64bit) Machine : Nakamura Tome Lathe (Dual spindle, dual upper turrets) Contoller : FANUC POST : Custom-made at the time of software introduction The part to be machined: A long cylindrical bar, which may be 500 to 2000mm long. It is to be machined first by holding in the left chuck only, and then it is pulled out little-by-little and machined whilst holding between both the chucks. Finally, it is held by the right chuck only and completed. The machining process includes face turning, center drilling, OD turning, and multiple grooving operations. What I tried: I was able to do the first stock advance, and the corresponding processing. When I tried to do the stock transfer, the active spindle automatically changes from left to right. How can I stop this changing of the active spindle at every stock transfer, and have it change only at the last transfer? *I could not find anything in the settings dialog (my understanding limited by my level of Japanese). I'd be extremely grateful for any guidance Loading gif

Hello, guys, Happy new year 2015 !!! I want to compile my c-hook program in a new computer. I encountered this problem when I transfered my c-hook code from one computer to a different computer. Everything works good in my old computer but not on my new computer. On the new computer, I failed to run MasterCAM in debug mode in 2 ways: 1) Using shortcut mastercam.exe; 2) Debug C-hook dll in visual studio when calling Mastercam.exe; They both gave me the following error message: Can you help me find the problem? My MasterCAM x6 is installed in C:\mcamx6 My sdk is installed in C:\mcamx6\sdk My computer is x64 platform I compiled my c-hook dll in x64 debug mode I also tried the shortcut method to call debug mastercam.exe on two other computers that have mastercam x6 installed and have x6 sdk. Both failed. I then guessed the problem is that I missed some important dlls in system32 folder which debug mastercam.exe needs but not installed on the new computers. What kind of dlls does mastercam needs additionally to enable its debug mode? Thank you! Guangyu ISU

I would like the post to always default to no X0 in the G28 line for our Haas mills. Is there a simple way to go into Mastercam X6 and do this? This is what the end of my programs look like. G91 G28 Z0. M9 G28 X0. Y0. M30 This is what I would like the default to be without having to remove the X0 each time we post. G91 G28 Z0. M9 G28 Y0. M30

Hello!! I support multiple users of Mastercam x5 & x6 and seem to have stumbled onto a problem I can't fix, so I'm hoping somebody on here knows. The user is complaining that the visual appearance of lines on the PC screen when zoomed in seems hand sketched or in other words not as straight as they should be. The users PC is far beyond the required specs, and has a dedicated video card. All drivers are up to date, and all hardware passed factory diagnoses tests. All other 3-D applications work without a hitch, its just in Mastercam x6 that the user reports a problem. I should also note, this problem is a new occurrence, the setup has been in place for quite some time and the user never had this problem before. Is there a setting or something that could have been bumped by the user that would lower the graphic quality? Thanks!
