Hello all, i have been having some issues trying to get subprograms to work with a Mazak Integrex 200-IV, the 5-axis version with tail stock and no lower turret. We are using the dialogue for most of the part, but some roughing has been programmed with GibbsCAM. The issues arise when we try to add the subs to the main program, as in order to have priority on them (have them run in a different order of what they are in the main program), we need to program it in the "manual program" block. We have tried simply writing M98P10488 and it manages to start running the program, but as it gets to the line with M53.5 it gets an alarm, "807 Invalid format". When using the normal subprogram block it runs just fine, but that dosent have priority, and therefore requires us to stop the program midway, run the EIA, then continue where we left off. Neither the M98 nor G65 make any difference, nor having the manual program direct to a subprogram block like this: M198P53152Q95 That is Mazatrol subprogram, program number 53152, block 96. I imagine it needs some other G or M code, but i am clueless. usually the manual program blocks dont require any starting block, meaning writing G0X0Z10 simply runs it without any hiccup.

Our company wants to began using Mastercam 2018 Lathe to program our Mazak Quick Turn Nexus 250-11 MSY . I feel I have to say that the Mazatrol floor guys are very upset so there will be no help from them and I do understand where they are coming from. I have never used a Mazak Lathe in G code or Mazatrol Yikes I know. Still the fact remains they want this done and I have to get it done. It is my job. That said, I have been machining since I was 19 years old and am 46 now. I am very excited to learn. It is programming! Tool geometry, speeds, and feeds they are all the same. Mastercam will handle the coding for me, right? I think my biggest challenge will be knowing how to get around on the machine controls to set up the workshifts and touch off the tools etc. If anyone out there could give me some advice or tell me where to find information on what to look for or expect I would be very grateful. If what I wondered about aloud above is crazy talk please also let me know. Thank you guys so much

My transfer from main to sub is complete but I still cannot get the turning tools for the sub set. I have attached the program. The lines of read text which are used on the sub do not seem to be doing anything. The text in blue, the main spindle works along with the transfer. Is it possible the operator set the tools used on the sub incorrectly? Could I need to change a parameter bit or something? I have reached out to Mazak but have not received any word yet. Please let me know what you guys think. Thank you 1903.EIA.rtf

Hello, I was wondering if someone could send me the parameters for both CIMCO and the fusion 640M so that I can transfer programs to the machine. We have to do it via the usb to 25-pin connector as the floppy drive does not work. This method does work as we have loaded programs on the the machine through CMT. We have only ever run mazatrol programs on this machine, and I am quite new to masterCAM. Thanks for the help in advance.

Is anyone here currently using the Mazatrol post from Camaix? Do you like it? How reliable is it? Do you need to do a lot of hand editing at the control? Pros/Cons?
