We use the setup sheet option in Mastercam and save to PDF so the guys on the floor at the machines can pull up the setup sheets on a computer. My request is; since Mastercam is already a CAD system why cant we do our screen captures as vectors instead of raster? If we could then we could zoom in on the screen capture and it would stay clear and PDF supports vectors. This is what is even being done across the web for websites because there's so many different screen sizes and resolutions. Vector is the way to go. I hope to see Masstercam do the same. Thank you.

When creating stock models for programs i was wondering if there was a way to convert them into other files directly to use for cmm purposes per op instead of working off the model in mastercam and comparing to the final part in the cmm program. (cmm program camio 8.5 files it accepts for the model are .sab .hsf .sat .igs and .stp)

Hi, I am trying to machine a mold for a blade and having trouble with multiple errors such as: 1. A solid with at least one serious fault has been created, keep it anyway? 2. Operation can not be performed on sheet body solids Im trying to fill the cavity to be able to machine the surface, then in a separate set up machine the cavity. I've tried some different things but i am not sure how to do this or fix these errors. Attached is the file, thanks! Mold Half 1-OLD.mcx-8

Hello fellow programmers. I was hoping to find a file to engrave a plaque with submarine dolpins. Any one know where I might be able to find one? Thanks!
