hello, I have one question i dont have found any answer in the online documentation. Is it possible with NetHook to have, without create any additionnal geometry, the canonic datas of a solid edge? - The type (Arc, Line, Nurbs…) - And the data (Arc center, radius, plane or line ends) ? In Mastercam, that's possible for exemple with analyze function, but is it possible to do the same in a Net Hook program and access to all of these data? Thanks in advance!

Hi Everyone, I used solid selection and CTRL to select all holes with the same Radius. I then changed the spot drills depth in linking parameters to get the correct size countersink but holes that are modeled deeper always make the spot go deeper as well. How do you control depth seperate from the modeled solid depth? -
New to mastercam and need some help with my solid model, currently using 2017 edition. After completing my drawing and extrusions it shows I have 30 entities on the one level. How can I combine them into one entity on the levels tab? If anyone could point me in the right direction I would appreciate it. Thank you for your time.

I have a reoccurring issue when programming relatively simple solids, they are there up until i re-gen the tool path. It seems to hide all of the solids even ones that do not have tool paths applied to them. Rather confused. Running 2020 as stated in the title and haven't had this issue prior. The tool paths still reference the solids just fine and they show in the solids manager. Any help or hints would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for your time! Shane

Has anyone ever had to add a accupro/picco solid carbide boring bar to mastercam? I'm a newer user and was looking for some pointers. I see that I can draw a tool but are there certain things I'll need to keep an eye on or look out for? Once again, sorry. New to this.

Hoping someone with more knowledge of solids in Mastercam 2017 / 2018 can help. I have attached a file where my solid model appears to have some redundant faces on the top and bottom. I have tried using the model prep optimization and simplify solid functions but it doesn't find any simplifications. If anyone has a fix for this, or a better way to draw this solid from scratch so I don't get the problem faces that would be great, Thanks, Colton solid problem.mcam

Hi, I am trying to machine a mold for a blade and having trouble with multiple errors such as: 1. A solid with at least one serious fault has been created, keep it anyway? 2. Operation can not be performed on sheet body solids Im trying to fill the cavity to be able to machine the surface, then in a separate set up machine the cavity. I've tried some different things but i am not sure how to do this or fix these errors. Attached is the file, thanks! Mold Half 1-OLD.mcx-8
