  1. Is there anyway to get mastercam to utilize canned cycles or some simplified version of the code for thread milling? I tried going to arc filtering but It was all greyed out?
  2. When I try to make a thread mill program using a multi-tooth inserted thread mill cutter (https://www.secotools.com/article/p_02546918?section=products) using bottom to top method with multiple axial depth of cut, the tool moves directly to final depth and then moves to 2nd step. Refer attached video for more details. If there is a solution already, please comment. Mastercam Thread mill Issue.mp4
  3. Hi, im just wondering, how to use control compensation of thread mill for threads. I found option of it, but when i activate it, the tool is going straight to the "wall" how to do there an entry radius after perpendicular line and keep starting point at the centre? Im using "bottom to top" btw. Thanks for advice
  4. Hi all I do most of the programming for the mills at my shop and a couple of the older Matsuura MC-500Vs which run Yasnac M5 have a canned helix bore cycle which we typically use for thread milling. My question is, is there a way to make a custom drill cycle to emulate this so I don't have to program it by hand? I have been dabbling in post editing and get a good amount of it but I am no so sure about everything, so my apologies if I ask for a little more explanation. Ill post a sample of code with it in use. Thanks for any help. Matt
