  1. Hi all, this warning I received from Vericut, it reminds me of an alarm I had seen from the Haas controller before. something that said "radius too large" in the alarm perhaps and when looking at the line that causes the warning the radius is a lot bigger than any of the other i or j values around it... Any insights? when my machine finishes running I am going to see if it causes any alarms in graphics. 2. Hey guys, I'm having some lagging issues in Vericut when dynamically rotating the models around for different views and such. It runs fine during actual simulation, but it doesn't move around smoothly, especially when I'm trying to zoom in. I'm not running machine sim, just regular verification. I looked up some solutions and one was just downloading the current drivers from Nvidia (graphics card is a Quadro K2000), but before doing that I was wondering if there were some simple settings I'm not aware of, or if we just need to update the card. Our workstations are about 2.5 years old with Intel Xeon E5 3.5GHz processors, 16GB ram, on Windows 7 Pro.
  3. It smells like another release full of cosmetic changes... http://www.cgtech.com/cgtech-vericut-imts-2016/ Let´s see how this goes...
  4. For those experiencing CIMCO Edit not being able to save files when they´re opened in VERICUT, CIMCO released today a fix.
  5. Hello! How to output all in one project Vericut? -all groups, all toolpath, stock models, G-code tables, model csys, stock csys Maybe someone has an example or tutorial videos?
  6. Good morning all. We recently purchased an Okuma MU400VA. I'm trying to determine what will be the best post/verification solution for us. Currently I'm running a trial on the Mastercam post from our reseller which is working well. Verify is matching what is output, but so far mostly 3+2. I am currently programming a part that I've used a Surface Highspeed OPTI Rest toolpath and then using Convert to 5ax. Verify looks great. No gouges. However when I post it gives me unwind/retract warnings. I'm apprehensive about this after reading about some issues with this here. We have looked at ICAM. It looks very good, but I've also read here that it doesn't solve all the problems. There seem to be lots of positive comments about Vericut. I haven't had a chance to look at that yet but I think I will try to find a reseller on my area and try to have a demo of this. Can anyone offer opinions or advice in this respect? Anyone else using Mastercam with an Okuma MU400VA? What verification/post setup are you using? Thanks,
  7. Hello, Guys Does someone know how to make a connection from vericut to mastercam X7 interface? (Vericut icon is showed in Mastercam tool bar) I can do it for X6, But X7 does not work! So...... Thanks in advance!
  8. Hi folks, I´m tired of the long run across VERICUT UI to setup the software to have performance/accuracy and I´m proposing that more VERICUT users could join me in requesting an enhancement to CGTech... the more people contact them asking for this, the more likely we´ll get it... http://www.cgtech.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=1857 If you are a VERICUT user and thinks this is helpful, please email your CGTech office asking for this too, together we are stronger... Ps: I´m posting here and not in Off-Topic because we have many VERICUT users here and I´d like to have their support on this... and in the end this is about a common tool we use... Thanks , Daniel
