Video Sharing Mastercam

Has anyone found software that allows video sharing during a Mastercam session?

We have a Robotel system in our upstairs lab. It is a good system but it is old and we cannot get two more stations. This leaves us short two. I have heard software systems work but have never seen one.

If you mean remote control-type software to share a screen across a network or the Internet, pcAnywhere and LapLink are the two main commercial solutions. Microsoft NetMeeting includes desktop sharing as well and it's free, but it doesn't have as many features as pcAnywhere and LapLink. Also, Windows XP will have the desktop sharing feature built-in. So you do have choices on the software side. Hope this helps

Hi Mike!!

If yer talkin about taking control of a student's system in a lab, we use two of them. One is a "linxs" system (hard wired to all computers in a lab), and the other one is "netop", which we purchased from (I think) Shortess & Rawson, our mcam educational dealer in New Jersey. I like both, but netop free's the world from 1 million miles of cabling.
