about screen capturing

Hello guys,

I need to capture current graphic window, so I tried some vb functions to do it, but I bumped into some troubles:

 

How can I toggle screen information (such as view names, coordinate axes, scaling information, and so on) using "DoBitmapfile" vb function?

 

I've also tried to use runMastercamCommand(CLIP_BOARD) instead of DoBitmapfile, but I don't want to sketch a window or press ESC key.

 

Any suggestion?

 

To me is fine using chook function as well; so If you have a chook solution to capture graphic screen (without having to press any key) it would be good anyway!

Some details on exactly what you're looking for...?

 

1> You do (do not) want the screen info 'extras'.

2> What size of BMP do you want?

 

If no screen info extras and a 256x256 BMP (with a white background) is desired, there is a function available via NEThook that does that ->

 

Mastercam.IO.FileManager.SaveToBitmap(filename);

I don't need screen info, so nethook should be a good solution.

The best solution (for me) would be usign vb script function (DoBitmapfile) or a chook similar function...

 

The picture size is not relevant.

If you run the SaveToBitmap.DLL 'as-is' it will create a BMP using the name of the active MCX file and place it into the same folder as the MCX.
