Getting rid of the "Y0"

Recommended Posts

Hi I'm trying to get the "Y0" to not post out. I have tried a number of things to no avail. Can anyone direct me to where I turn this off?

Mplmaster.pst and GENERIC 3/4 AXIS LATHE

This is for a Mori seiki SL200 SMC lathe just in case there are already posts and mach def's floating around. Not that I'm asking. smile.gif

I tried changing this to "No$" - didn't work

checkyflg : yes$ #Check Y movement only once for error

Tried changing this to "0" - didn't work so I tried turning off the "Y" section in the machine definition - didn't work.

y_axis_mch : no$ #SET_BY_MD - Machine has a Y axis, 0=no, 1=yes - Set based on Axis Combination in MD

What else other than finding the comand line for the rapid move the deleting the call for "Y"? Or is that the way to do it?

Thanks.
