Proper debugging procedure in C++ c-hooks

Recommended Posts

It will be highly appreciated if someome can explain to me what is the proper procedure for debugging C++ c-hooks in VS. Per my inderstanding it should be done in this way:

- change mode from Release to Debug

- set some breakpoints

- compile and dll file will apead in Debug folder

- run dll in MC and hopefully VS envipoment will appear at the first breakpoint?

Is it correct? So far it does not fork for me. What I am missing?

Thanks in advance for your help
