Select operations one by one

I am trying to have some code run thru the entire operation tree and select the operation one by one to check if dirty and if so regenerate the operation.

I can use the SelectAllOperations to select all the operations but the Operation.Regenerate method needs a specific object to regenerate.

I am using VB so if your using C the syntax would be a bit different, but its basically the same thing.. I think it should be this simple..

 
Dim Ops() As Mastercam.Database.Operation
Dim result As Boolean
 
Ops = SearchManager.GetOperations()
 
For Each op As Mastercam.Database.Operation In Ops
 
If op.Dirty = True Then
 
        result = op.Regenerate()
     
End If
 
Next

I knew that it was something easy I was missing. I entirely missed the GetOperations method.

Yeah, keep in mind there is multiple GetOperations Methods

 

So you can get ops based on group number as well as a few other things, can't recall without looking.. its pretty handy though.. glad I could help.

Can also be written as shown below for those interested 

 Dim operations = SearchManager.GetOperations()

For Each op In operations.Where(Function(e) e.Dirty)
    op.Regenerate()
