NET-Hook: How to pick Solid edges

Up to X9, Mastercam.Database.ChainManager.GetMultipleChains() won't let me use solid edges.

Solid selection is greyed out.

 

Will there be enhanced methods in the next release?

(Or is there a known workaround for X9?)

I don't see anything new in the object browser but Roger, who is out this week, would know better and he has created workarounds using a C-Hook and interop with a NET-Hook in the past in some instances so that might be something to look into. I'll mention this to him when he gets back after the holidays.

Picking of Solid edges for use as Chains in an Operation is not currently supported.

We've put it on the request list, but this is something that is long term.

Certainly not in X9, and probably not until after Mastercam 2017.
