Mastercam Licensing Issue

Greetings everyone,

I am the tech for a machining lab at a community college. We have 18 PC’s running mastercam and the license hasp is located at our networking room running off a vm.

We are having constant problems with Mastercam claiming there are no licenses to be used even though no PC’s are using them.

Sometimes students will be using it and they will all be kicked off and it will say connection to license lost.

My network team has said the problem is definitely not with the network (as they would say). 

So to reiterate. PC’s can access the server, but can’t alot of times. When I get the call that there are issues, i will remote to one and get on in 1 shot. 
 

I am under alot of hell from school leadership to get this figured out and email support is not helping currently.

Please help if anybody can.

Mastercam has a lisence manager called aladin that can tell you where your lisences are being used.

I know where the licenses are being used. The problem is the clients can barely access the license manager with a perfect network connection.
