Mastercam VB Script for 5-Axis
Guest posted a topic in Mastercam C-Hook, NET-Hook and VBScript Development
Below is the URL for a Mastercam VB Script I wrote for debugging 5-Axis Posts. It allows the user to select a rotary configuration, pick individual individual vectors and will then produce a basic text report with the vector and angular data. Simply pressing [ESC] allows the user to exit the script at any time. If nothing else, the math in the script gives users a good idea how the angles are calculated. http://dl.dropboxuse...i-Axis_Info.vbs FWIW, I've got a series of articles on demystifying 5-axis on my Tech Blog. 5-Axis Machining Demystified- Part One http://www.mtbtech.n...d-Part-One.aspx 5-Axis Machining Demystified - Part Two http://www.mtbtech.n...d-Part-Two.aspx 5-Axis Machining Demystified - Part Three http://www.mtbtech.n...Part-Three.aspx -
Ive got these two lines in position and I dont know how give it the angle I want top left to bottom right of the box The distance between is .7 and I need a 15 deg angle and on older I would use create line polar but I dont know what to do in x6 Its not a 15 deg thats .7 in distance because my diameters dont match up when I do that I know its a bold call to say the prints not right but Ive got an id at 2.5 goes 3. Deep then goes to dia 2.88 ar 3.7 deep with 15 deg typ and im not getting it And when using the priny points the angle is 28.5
