Update Post - Batch Routine

is it possible to use UpdatePost.dll in a batch routine for an automatic Post-Update?

Since UpdatePost is not an executable, but a Mastercam "Add-On" that must be launched from within Mastercam, it don't see how that would be possible.

I'm myself am not involved with Update Post

I just took a look at how it "runs" and from what I saw - it needs Mastercam to do its work.

I will pass your suggestion along to the group that is responsible for Update Post,

Hello Thomas,

 

The Update Post utility must be launched from inside Mastercam. It needs to have all of the security processes in place and that requires an active (licensed) session of Mastercam to be running. Can you tell us exactly why you need to run this in conjunction with an external macro driven process? We may be able to help, but you will need to contact the Post Department at CNC through the proper channels (your Reseller).

 

Are you trying to speed up the process? Please note that you can use Update Folder to launch the Update Post process, and use it to update all your posts with one action. (you can search sub-folders)
