Mastercam analyze distance issue

Hello,  Have an issue when I select analyze distance on a drawing, It will allow me to select the first point and then after selecting the second point, it continues to show random lines on the screen. Almost like mouse trails.  It will continue to do this until I click clear content.  Happening on multiple versions and PC's. Also on this same PC, the background color changes to black everytime I close the app.  I change it to white each time bt it will not save the settings.  Help....
