new user testing the waters. couldnt figure out profile yet. about to retire before 2023. i have an ancient German made saw sharpener i would like to make use of and have a side gig for my spare time if i get any.

i am looking to line up someone interested and has a need for first, getting saws resharpened. it wont be until i have my ducks in a row with retiring, health issues, and capabilities with saws. a month or two into 2023?

right now i am able to do standard center hole, .032 to .125 thick, 1 3/4 to 3 plus inch od various tooth count.

if there is an interest and a workable agreement, all could be happy. looking to cut new costs by half and possibly custom angle and clearance apps for better outcomes. start small and go take that first step.

i am looking forward to passing knowledge on to the younger generations on likely soon to be lost talents such as tool sharpening and making.

i started as a turret lathe operator and am now retiring as a master machinist cnc mill operator in a factory tool room. sharpening engraving needles, milling cutters, hobs, ems, .020 to 1.5 drills, carb form tools, chasers, taps, and yes saws. machines too many to list.

so, email me and or follow me to see how this can progress into a valued lead for limited sharpening needs. i may end up not following this regularly so dont get discouraged if i dont get right back. i also have a turret lathe and cincinatti milicron to get set up someday? old school can still rule.
