A customer of mine is running Wire 7.2 on a Compaq EN 400 SFF. When the application is minimized it (Wire) hangs. Wire cannot be restored. Windows NT 4.0 sp 5. CPU utlization remains at 100% whild Wire is active. Taskman can end application and wire can be restarted. Any ideas please, thanks.

Regarding the 100% CPU use, that topic has been covered in the following threads; http://www.emastercam.com/cgi-bin/ultimate...ic&f=1&t=001025 and http://www.emastercam.com/cgi-bin/ultimate...ic&f=1&t=001031 . As far as why Wire hangs when minimized, that can depend on various factors. Does it ALWAYS hang when minimized? How much RAM do you have?

Do you have any other Mastercam products installed such as Mill or Lathe? If so, do those hang when you minimize them, too? And when you minimize Wire, is it during a lengthy operation or will it hang even you don't have a file opened?

Wire does hang every time it is minimized. 128 Mb RAM.

Only Wire is installed on this particular computer. It will hang any time it is minimized, file open or not.
