Wotan Machine

Hello,

My boss left me a note this evening stating that our company purchased a Wotan horizontal machine with a heidenhain TNC 415 control. He wants to start making programs next week to test the machine while wondering if I have a .pst. Our sister company currently has a Correa vertical machine center with heidenhain TNC 426B control, which I program for now. My MC dealer sent me Mpmaster_heid_conv.pst, Mpmaster_heid_iso.pst, and Mpmaster_heid_millplus.pst. Not sure if any of these posts will work. Although I will contact my dealer tomorrow, I have a meeting with my supervisors at 6A.M. to discuss getting this machine up and running. Can anyone give me some feedback on Wotan machines?

Sorry but I don't know much about the machine, as I only have a hand written note with only the info. I listed above.

I would greatly appreciate any feedback.

Thanks in advance,

Scot

Good Eve,

Most machines come with some test programs or

the manuals have program formats in them.

Is this a new machine??

Good Day,

The conv. is ok, but at some point you will

have something a little more complex that conv. cant do.

If its an old machine, there should be some

prog.s in the mach memory that you could match to

an existing post for heidenhain.
