Anyone know how to access the post?

Program is not generating work offsets, and throws out a bunch of machine home positions at the beginning and end of every program, also H and T numbers dont match. We are using our old post from Ver.9.1, but the new editor isnt reading it the same. Any suggestions?

The editor has nothing to do with what Mastercam outputs.

 

1) What version of Mastercam are you using?

2) What post are you using?

3) Is this the same post that you've always used?

4) Do ALL files post 'wrong' or just one?

Using X, Trying to get it set up right.

We think were using the same post. It does not want to output the same. I followed the directions in the install guide that came with X to update the original post so that it should be ok. Im using a Haas post. All the files post wrong.

Did you update the post?

Did you set your tool numbere sequestial?

That will fix your Offset number matching.

Did you select that Machine Def befor you staryed programming the toolpath? of is this an old job brought into X.

I would like to be able to access the post parameters, but I dont know how to get there from here.

Sounds like you want to get to the Tool page in Control Definition Manager? Select Control Definition from Machine Type menu, open your .control file if necessary, make sure the proper post is showing in the Post processor field. Select Tool from list on left side of dialog box, should show you the settings you need for tool offsets, numbering, and default home positions. Go to Work System page for work offset options.
